Founder Requirements

Applicants should:

• Have the legal right to work in Canada throughout the programme.
• Serve as a full-time founder or executive of the startup.
• Own at least 25% of the company (or a simple majority, whichever is greater).
• Demonstrate strong technical expertise in an aerospace-related field.
• Be committed to scaling an innovative aerospace venture.

Startup Requirements

The startup should:

• Develop an innovative aerospace technology, product, or service.
• Have a clear commercialization strategy.
• Be incorporated in Alberta or federally within the past two years, or have raised less than CAD $500,000 in dilutive funding.
• Establish and maintain a presence at the Aerospace Innovation Hub in Calgary during the programme.
• Be willing to relocate the founder to Calgary if selected.
